A foundation for growing histories
Which UI tools will keep resident cards and long histories easy to explore? An asset review favors reusable collection controls while preserving the habitat’s calm visual style.

Originalnotiz und Messwerte (Englisch)
Documentation and source assessment only: UI Examples is a useful uGUI sample reference, but its old Built-in pipeline support does not establish suitability for the current Unity 6.3/URP project. The source HUD uses IMGUI, so adopting a Canvas kit requires a presentation migration. uGUI Widgets is the preferred functional candidate; Evo UI is the alternative for a broad styled HUD/menu kit; Modern UI Pack is a budget option with an experimental Dynamic List View limitation. These are proposals, not purchased or integrated features. See ui-framework-evaluation in Documentation for primary sources and current prices. Measured on 14 October 2026 at 23:44:49 +02:00, across game/Habitat/Assets/Habitat: 22 C# files, 1 OnGUI definition, 6 GUI.BeginScrollView calls and 0 UXML/USS files. Source inventory SHA-256 f411b354b994429ae02effcdedbc7fd9c950d95c97c612bfbe8afb375bffcf98; inspected LiveHud.cs SHA-256 0c50fe9a80afea032b56f69c20694c3b111beeb17785a5f295c8386d6649751d. These are source counts, not performance results. No matching downloaded/imported UI Examples package was found; pack identity was matched to the official Unity Technologies listing, and package-source/runtime compatibility remains unverified. Reused approved gameplay evidence preserves its original build and capture time. No new visual iteration or runtime test occurred. Next: evaluate a resident-card/history slice with public fixtures in the exact project versions before committing to migration.
