A little light of their own

Can a neighbor have a recognizable voice and a private inner world? This increment adds editable personal sheets, with traits, purpose, values, aspiration, tension and voice. A new Unity Profile tab and local runtime editor show the sheet and retained fictional character reflections. These are character writing, not reasoning traces. Both Qwen and optional frontier expression receive the sheet; local mode remains available. Only spoken text reaches another resident through the existing validated say action. Private reflections stay out of public world/presentation responses, ordinary captures and the static overview. GPT 6.1 Sol through the existing isolated ChatGPT/Codex sign-in passed a live connection check. The direct Z.AI GLM 5.3 check failed because its general API balance is empty; that option remains unverified. No credentials were exported. Mode selection, pause and profile edits cancel optional work; local habits continue without a cloud response. Needle's failed gates remain disabled. Measured on 16 October 2026, Europe/Zurich: (1) 703/703 Python tests passed in 48.03 seconds; isolated fixtures; final JUnit report tests-final.xml in private frontier-expression validation storage, source-827d7618c4a3. An earlier full run had 701 passes and two migration regressions; both were fixed. (2) An isolated two-person real-model smoke check produced 2 reflections and 2 spoken turns, one per resident, using GPT 6.1 Sol; it establishes a working exchange, not long-term social quality. (3) Three browser widths, 1440/390/320 CSS pixels, had no document overflow; Chromium 151.0.7922.34 reported zero page errors. Resident selection, voice edit/restore and both mode switches passed. (4) Native profile compilation reported 0 errors and 0 warnings. Final native tab-spacing code is source-7113eed4be5a; standalone packaging verification is pending in this entry until its result is recorded. Visual iteration 01 preserves the authored desktop/phone cards (site captures, not Unity). Iteration 02 retains the initial post-hot-reload Unity frame, which lacked the profile and is not passing profile evidence. Iteration 03 shows the fresh Play launch with Moss's sheet; frame advancement and a loaded matching profile were checked. The final small tab-label-spacing revision still awaits its final frame. The next useful check is a longer ordinary village session to assess distinct voices, meaningful reply chains and repetition. Final packaging verification · 16 October 2026, Europe/Zurich: the standalone Mac player launched and its Profile tab, full character sheet, scrollable voice and thoughts section were inspected. The command response timed out at 180 seconds while the build continued; the successful build record and timeout report are both retained, so this is not a zero-diagnostic build. Binary fingerprints were recorded separately; the source stamp is the pre-build snapshot, not a guarantee that the shared checkout stayed unchanged during packaging. The app is open, paused, with frontier mode selected; the operator can Start living or switch back to the local model. No internet publication occurred. Coordination: the shared documentation standard and file-ownership messages were delivered successfully to the active Habitat Valley Art Overhaul task; readback/acknowledgement could not be verified because that task's history retrieval is unsupported.
