What happens when a wandering animal meets a companion? Hens, rabbits and deer now reserve a nearby same-species partner, approach with room between them, face one another and share a short foraging pause. Some encounters include a short leader-and-follower stroll before they separate. A cooldown leaves room for independent wandering between visits. The pack’s wander component was inspected in its original source. Its generic chase, evade and attack behavior does not provide these peaceful encounters or Habitat’s path, water, doorway and pause boundaries. The integration therefore keeps the pack’s original rigs and animation loops with Habitat’s existing safe movement controller. Both partners check their swept paths and nearby occupancy. A blocked route, approaching resident, disabled companion or destroyed companion releases the encounter. Pausing, reconnecting or entering a cottage freezes the animal clock, movement and animation. This remains authored ambient presentation: no animal inference, resident intentions, persistent ecology, resource consumption or simulator state was added. The attached 1920 × 1080 images are actual Mac standalone frames captured on 17 October 2026 Europe/Zurich, from unity-source-a136f36d4d62-animal-encounters-20261016230643. They use a static public world fixture with no residents, simulator or inference, allowing animal behavior to run independently of the saved village. Animal positions and poses were not arranged. The captured animal-only observations establish motion and encounter completion separately from these stills. Runtime source: animal-encounters-9a5ec5c51888. Licensed source: polyperfect Low Poly Animated Animals 4.1.1, package identity d2ecfdb2b719. No vendor scripts or downloadable licensed models are published. Measurement snapshot, 17 October 2026: (1) 32/32 focused Unity encounter checks passed on animal-encounters-9a5ec5c51888, covering pairing, mutual facing, following clearance, completion/cooldown, interruption and pause/reconnect/home guards. Separate existing runtime and capture checks passed 19/19 and 23/23; scopes overlap and are not a full-project total. (2) Across native animal clock 0.124287–92.351334 seconds, all seven animals traveled more than 0.1 m, ten encounters started, nine completed and three following sequences started. The receipt counts only this controlled standalone run. (3) The native animal observation was exactly unchanged at clock 17.280073 across paused frames captured at 23:08:29.629Z and 23:08:32.611Z, then advanced after resume. This does not claim the whole rendered image froze. (4) The delivered Mac player built in 17.86525 seconds with zero errors and one optional Pipeline configuration warning. Private receipts preserve exact check, source and build identities. Historical Python and full-suite results were not rerun or reassigned to this change. The first 21.01-second native sample did not pass the chosen greater-than-0.1-m-per-animal travel threshold: both rabbits had traveled only 0.057 m while greeting and foraging. The same unarranged run continued to the 92.35-second sample above; the earlier failed threshold is retained. Two paused screenshots also differed in background foliage visibility despite equal animal observations. No foliage fix or whole-frame freeze is claimed. Longer ordinary play remains the next useful check before claiming sustained crowd behavior or ecology. Visual history retains one Editor frame (20261016T230346782453-f224077079ce), all nine native encounter frames in iteration 02-native-encounters, and all five normal valley views in iteration 03-current-valley of session animal-encounters-20261017. Each exact image and sidecar was staged, inspected and approved separately. Only the three selected encounter posters and the normal village/hearth views are newly internet-reviewed. The normal photographs 20261016T231205087043-1d2609e88144 and 20261016T231205697391-4b27dc8027b3 show the ordinary saved valley through the read-only photo client while paused; their zero animal clock makes no motion claim. Earlier solo-wandering captures retain their own build and dated history. The normal player was restored on the updated build with Start living visible. A lifecycle-aware readback preserved simulation time, residents, objects and all saved contents; only revision changed during relaunch. The separately reviewed normal-window capture 20261016T231728370000-f1e6505d9444 records this restored, paused UI; it is local evidence rather than a new internet selection. The public Asset Library keeps three poster-only licensed animal entries and their withheld-model manifest. Publication and live verification are recorded separately in the website-sync receipt. Website reading check, 17 October 2026: five new internet-reviewed source images and 15 reviewed responsive WebP derivatives now supply the current showcase and three poster-only animal entries. The affected publication/library/language scope passed 115 checks in 2.12 seconds before browser review; after correcting a hardcoded homepage caption and alternative text, static-page and language checks passed 36 in 0.91 seconds. These scopes overlap and are not a full-project result. Actual browser checks verified the desktop 3-of-17 Poster only filter, no animal model download link or model viewer, deliberate access to the 1920-pixel original deer image, current homepage photographs, and the German entry at 390 × 844 without horizontal overflow. All three phone journal images decoded from 480-pixel WebP sources. The homepage hen caption now identifies the controlled observation instead of describing orchard houses. Website appearance is separate from game motion evidence. Six individually inspected and approved local website frames retain the first and corrected reading iterations: 20261016T232025412000-c2dd301ce5cb on animal-encounters-website-517c945913a39273, 20261016T232115418000-ed821a971ee6 on animal-encounters-website-e86a3d405f673c30, 20261016T232130129000-b68dd58227d6 on animal-encounters-website-e86a3d405f673c30, 20261016T232142061000-b5e5a05d0482 on animal-encounters-website-311de6afa183e71e, 20261016T232149927000-f129db0cbbe0 on animal-encounters-website-59bb0a773ac724b1, 20261016T232226769000-5529a3e0be23 on animal-encounters-website-59bb0a773ac724b1. Exact frozen page hashes remain in their sidecars; later source and journal changes are not assigned retroactively. The normal native window remains paused with Start living ready. Website Git delivery and live byte verification are recorded separately in the website-sync receipt.
