A day with more to do

The neighbors can fish, cook, read, make keepsakes and take a proper nap. Step into a cottage while the rest of the village keeps living.

Full entry & measurements

Each resident has an assigned home and local habits that choose among feasible routines. Doorway travel, indoor paths, saved timers, supplies and rewards belong to the same simulator; viewing a cottage changes the camera only. Completed fishing supplies cooking, wood becomes a gift, and sleep retains original experiences. Home/outdoor perception and private interviews stay separate; home vision remains unavailable. The final native build is unity-source-c3ba1b884162-20261015162705. Measurement snapshot: 569/569 isolated Python tests passed in 33.31 seconds on source-c3ba1b884162 with an unchanged fingerprint ([private evidence location omitted] and tests-source.json, 15 October 16:27 UTC). 206/206 playing-Editor checks passed on that source: 39 home-scene invariants and 167 activity/pose checks, including actual Walker direction, cast depth and no actor drift ([private evidence location omitted] and [private evidence location omitted], 16:28 UTC). A separately dated native check on unity-source-850955cd1727-20261015160628 recorded 44.427 seconds of outside progress with the camera in Moss’s cottage: Pip finished fishing and walked home. Its local and cloud attempted-call counts were both zero ([private evidence location omitted], 16:08–16:09 UTC). This is a short isolated fixture, not a long-run frame-time acceptance result. The earlier 600-tick Python observation retains its original source hashes in docs/daily-life.md. Visual iterations are preserved in session lively-life-20261015: 01 first compact cottage (20261015T160213274706-f6ba09f359e5), 02 native cooking and reading (20261015T160706247808-91a88434f527 and 20261015T160746824623-3e0362abfc61), 03 live continuity (20261015T160847303722-aa6aede6cd8e), 05 compact home-bar refinement (20261015T161400457359-27fa80860a50), 07 full sleep and early rod direction (20261015T162010836466-4bd000b819e0 and 20261015T162049431193-45ea677cac3c), 08 forward-facing short cast (20261015T162442521452-0f7ce0218bca), and 09 cast beyond the long deck (20261015T162849920927-d7752710ec7b). Earlier 02/03 operator annotations incorrectly described the isolated local cap as zero: migration had selected continuous mode, optional models were unavailable and the measured ledger still recorded zero attempts. Later controlled fixtures explicitly set zero after migration. Original metadata and failed measurements remain historical; the correction does not change a usage result. Unapproved draft captures remain private. Shutdown testing also fixed an existing unawaited pause, preserving explicit background mode. Three contributors acknowledged the documentation/evidence standard and worked on separate simulation, presentation and review files; this session integrated and reviewed the captures. Next: longer observations of routine variety and household visits. The latter, interior vision and a fishing mini-game are future work. No internet publication was performed. The saved habitat handoff is captured at 16:32 UTC on the final native build (20261015T163232505572-cf0586526bba). A private checkpoint comparison confirmed original objects and private resident fields were preserved; provider preferences have an unchanged file hash. The normal runtime is restored, its private fixture route is absent, and the rebuilt player is paused. Receipt: [private evidence location omitted] The journal renderer passed 16/16 and local overview/export/evidence/page boundary checks passed 79/79 after the documentation update; these are scoped document checks, not another simulation measurement.
