A quiet place to sit

A checkpointed simulator repair moved the existing bench to a physically clear place while preserving its identity and Pebble’s chosen approach. Native maximize and restore worked; coordinate resizing was unavailable through the automation surface, so compact layouts remain unverified. The private selected-resident inspection is retained privately, not approved for the overview. Measured checkpoint on unchanged source-deb299311ab8: 377 isolated Python tests passed at 00:35 UTC, 10 garden presentation/relocation checks passed in the advancing Editor at 00:36 UTC, and 14 camera privacy checks passed there with actual eye renders and UI restoration. The final native build recorded zero errors at 00:37 UTC. Exact report scopes, timings and the earlier failures remain in docs/overnight-polish.md. The eye images were inspected and remain operator-only; these checks do not establish model visual understanding. The first bounded native endurance attempt stopped safely when its private controller misclassified a budget-admission message. Legitimate decisions and earned world changes were preserved, the world paused and the original allowance restored. Investigation then found that admission refusal could also add misleading invalid-action feedback to a resident despite no model decision having occurred; that product defect is being corrected before the next run. A low-camera native check also exposed oversized dark geometry across the sky, retained as an intermediate for diagnosis. Longer performance and rest completion remain pending. No purchases have been made.
