The four neighbors find their place

What makes a larger valley still feel like home? Four familiar neighbors now have a calmer interface, a private collection of character looks, and working movement and furniture poses.

Full entry & measurements

Can four familiar characters move through a much larger place while keeping their identity? The native collection now imports a validated character ZIP and applies its pinned look to an existing neighbor. Four original Blender founders remain the starting population. Named rigs walk, turn, tend planters, sit on benches and rest; object use remains a validated simulator intent. Noncentered imported models now align their visible body and collider with their actual world position, and legacy founder renaming preserves operator-chosen names. The actual attached chooser passed cancellation, import and Enter assignment. The first native import rendered magenta even though Editor fixtures had passed; failure capture 20261014T224541162034-54fb45bd18ff remains in the dated history. The corrected builder retains the core glTF shader, and the importer rejects unsupported materials before replacing a visual. Corrected public frame 20261014T224918747849-6837fe582d88 comes from unity-source-0e3e447fb16e-20261014224727. Original Moss was restored afterward; the habitat remains paused with unchanged simulation time. Final native build unity-source-1df4bdc305ac-20261014225033 also excludes selected resident details and speech bubbles from ordinary curated captures. The actual selected-Moss filter check is 20261014T225133619142-83ae76230c8f. The final collection and whole-valley frames above, plus lake frame 20261014T225256740718-ef8b5fad928f, retain their own 14 October UTC capture dates (15 October in Zurich), 1920 x 1080 resolution, Metal/URP renderer and camera transforms. Earlier cropped Editor captures and private modal frames remain unapproved in private staging; they are not substituted for native proof. Measured snapshot: 324/324 isolated Python tests, 16.617 seconds JUnit, source-1df4bdc305ac unchanged during the 22:50 UTC run (tests.xml/tests-source.json); 31/31 character/import/rig checks in the advancing Unity Editor loop at 22:40 UTC on source-111a98a127f0 (character-runtime-checks.json, public fixtures without model calls or saved-state changes); 1,498 catalog instances across 61 prefab types in the final native capture metadata at 22:52 UTC; final native build 18.981 seconds, zero errors and one expected editor-only Pipeline warning at 22:50:53 UTC (player-build.json). These scopes do not establish a sustained frame-rate result. The local model panel has separately passed a real fresh-camera Qwen3.5-2B connection and shows a downloaded optional Gemma choice; its evidence is in the preceding model journal. The next useful check is sustained purposeful resident behavior in this world. Longer performance acceptance, mature farming/interiors, general animation retargeting and embedded clip playback remain unfinished.
