An idea they can finish

Residents can keep a small project in mind, work through its steps and see it through to a gift or a shared meal.

Native resident project · authored public profile fixture↗
Actual Unity profile UI rendered with an authored public project fixture, 16 October. The step card demonstrates native layout, not a live model choice or completed gameplay project.16 Oct 2026
A historical website layout accompanying this development entry.↗
Browser UI fixture at 390 CSS pixels: progress, a waiting reason and the stop control. All character and project text is authored public test data.16 Oct 2026
Native delivery · village↗
Actual rebuilt Unity player, paused at 1920 × 1080 on 16 October at 12:28 UTC. This records the delivered village; it does not demonstrate project completion.16 Oct 2026
Full entry & measurements

Can an idea survive the walk to a workbench? Optional frontier expression can now select one persistent personal project: make and give a wooden keepsake, or catch a fish, cook it at home and share a meal. Local routines execute each step; only actual activity and transfer receipts advance progress. Current work finishes normally, urgent needs take priority, and waiting projects can resume without another inference call. One-way giving does not enlist another resident in a shared plan. Profiles show the current step, progress and waiting reason. The private web editor can stop future project steps without erasing an activity already underway. Projects survive reload, keep a bounded result history and expire after fifteen running minutes. Private recipient locations are not used. New ideas require an explicit frontier selection; local mode and the disabled Needle gates keep their existing boundaries. The direct adapter now uses GLM Flash's required thinking contract, rejects abnormal completions, retains reservations for malformed usage and rechecks a lowered budget at queued admission. Repeated frontier failures back off while local routines continue. Concurrent connection checks cannot overwrite a newer selection. The new response contract was verified with isolated adapters; new live frontier project quality remains pending available account allowance. Evidence from 16 October 2026: the before browser profile is capture 20261016T121408241000-0d18cbd6921e; desktop, phone, narrow and quiet fixtures are 20261016T121449554000-fd9014ccf996, 20261016T121449827000-d1f08818f2ca, 20261016T121449926000-bd99accaef65 and 20261016T121450036000-5fcda506ddfc. Actual native ProfileContent is capture 20261016T122616111000-cad78f12774a. All profile images use authored public fixtures, not live generated thoughts or gameplay completion. The initial malformed native crop remains private and unapproved after a screen-read crash; a native window capture completed the check after recovery. Native scene photographs are 20261016T122857703256-021af4b0fa8d (village), 20261016T122921506726-2f9056bd8fa1 (farm) and 20261016T122921898525-816f67a365db (fireside). They show the actual paused delivery player, with no injected resident actions, and establish no pacing or performance result. Measured snapshot: 813/813 isolated Python tests passed in 56.27 seconds on source-96dc7658ed09, unchanged before/after the final run (check.py JUnit and source receipts, 16 October). This includes state transitions, persistence, privacy, provider/budget and static-site boundaries; no live calls. The authored browser fixture passed 17 checks at desktop/390/320 CSS pixels with no horizontal overflow (Chromium 151.0.7922.34; resident-project-ui-315f11a39610d3ac; 16 October). The macOS player build succeeded in 22.929 seconds with zero errors and one Editor-only Pipeline warning (BuildPlayer receipt, 12:28:06 UTC, unity-source-96dc7658ed09-20261016122743); actual player frames are 1920 × 1080 Metal/URP. These measurements are separate scopes and are not added together. Next: observe a live frontier session to learn whether residents choose worthwhile projects, finish them at a natural pace and respond to their outcomes. See An idea they can finish in the source documentation for implementation boundaries and dated evidence.
