Giving the cottage doors room to breathe

The cottage walls are taller without changing their footprints, and the orchard roof now has warm timber behind its open gable. The final source revision awaits the shared Unity Editor recovery.

Full entry & measurements

The first integrated cottage view revealed a sky-visible orchard gable and doors that read small beside the residents. Free local preparation keeps foundation and steps below 0.35m unchanged, expands the lower wall section 40%, and translates the upper roof 0.72m. Measured 16 October from final Source.json: cottage height 3.90m before / 4.62m after, unchanged horizontal dimensions; orchard gable shell 8 triangles; 35,406 triangles across 5 final unique meshes. All 5 final FBX exports passed 35 round-trip hash/triangle/UV/ground/finite/bounds checks. Intermediate v3 roof shading patches are retained; original winding/normals are preserved in final woodland v4 / orchard v5. Actual final Unity import and the expanded 14-check fixture remain pending shared Editor recovery. Historical v2 integration 13/13 and source Python 53/53 checks are separate from that final acceptance. Source: docs/village-craft.md.
